Welcome to our off grid micro-campsite, with only six bell tents and endless vistas

Nestled in a field of wildflowers with uninterrupted views of Restormel Castle and the Fowey River, Heydaze is a hidden gem on the outskirts of Lostwithiel, Cornwall.

Take the stress out of family camping trips with our fully furnished bell tents, off grid facilities and communal camp kitchen.

With only six tents spaced out in our huge wild flower meadow, there is plenty of room to relax and play.

We are a working farm with free ranging alpacas, chickens, ducks and geese.

We welcome well behaved dogs and request that they are kept on a lead on site.

The Funky Comfort Bell Tent

  • Our two beautiful and fully furnished 5 metre ‘star’ bell tents enjoy uninterrupted views of the valley and sleep up to four people in each.

    The fully equipped communal field kitchen is shared between our two Funky Comfort and two Star Gazer tents.

The Star Gazer

  • Enjoy not only the panoramic views of the valley, but also the stars in our clear roofed Star Gazer tents.

    Our 5 metre Star Gazer can comfortably sleep four people, with the 4m accommodating three.

    The fully equipped communal field kitchen is shared between our two Funky Comfort and two Star Gazer tents.

The Luxury Edit By Tylda Tents

  • We are happy to host Tylda Tents for a second season at Heydaze, who are providing our luxury tier of tents.

    Two 5 metre bell tents sleeping up to four people each in real beds, with every comfort catered for.

    Each Tylda Tent includes its own private, fully equipped camp kitchen.

Facilities

We keep things simple and eco-conscious, with composting toilets and a communal field kitchen.

Our facilities speak to the ‘Good Life’, encouraging simple living and alfresco gathering.

Our campsite shower is simple but effective, with a solar heated water system designed to cause the least environmental impact possible.

We love our composting loos!

Fantastic for the environment, they reduce water consumption, eliminate the need for a sewage system, and after a year’s worth of composting they produce a valuable fertiliser which we use right here on the farm.

Big Plans…

  • Our communal field kitchen is under construction for summer 2025. Shared by just four bell tents, this space gives safari vibes with everything you need to cook up a feast in the great outdoors.

  • Yes, you read it right. We like a challenge over here, and we love a bit of fun. We have plans to convert a horse box into a little slice of luxury for you to enjoy on site.

  • Our little lake at the bottom of the field is a wildlife haven which we want to keep protected, BUT we have big plans for an adjacent cold plunge bath, fed by the same spring water as as the lake. The perfect partner to the horse box sauna!
